The artist behind the work.
My paintings explore emotions, memories, and the beauty of everyday life through vibrant color, expressive brushwork, and luminous layers. Movement and spontaneity shape each work, allowing recognizable forms and abstraction to meet. Rooted in joy, freedom, and connection, these paintings give form to feelings that words cannot always capture, inviting viewers to discover their own stories within them.
Rozita Akbari is an artist based in Cary, North Carolina. Working in expressive florals and luminous abstracts, she builds each painting in layers of color and movement — inviting recognizable forms and abstraction to meet on the canvas.
